Permanent full time position Based at our Indooroopilly school Utilise your technical expertise and leadership skills We are a large independent College with a mission of Excellence in Christian Co-education ensuring Every Child Learns, Every Day. Our ICT team are integral to the successful operation of our College both for our core service of student learning and as a large organisation with a diverse workforce. This position will lead significant change with their leader, our new Chief Operating Officer. Requiring a track record of technology leadership, technical expertise and a customer centric focus, this position leads a team, manages the College’s information infrastructure and expertly shepherding the architecture and services to a sustainable future. About you: Significant ICT technical experience is a must at both a strategic and operational level You enjoy using your advanced critical thinking and problem solving capabilities to create sustainable, cost effective and practical IT solutions for our staff and students You can demonstrate experience with governance, planning and management and operationalise these through and with your ICT team Stakeholders have held you in high regard for your propensity to collaborate, lead and make change happen with a customer centric focus You have been known for leading medium size teams and enabling them to deliver on the strategy and create value through their services – together creating both ICT outcomes and influencing organisational behaviour You get a buzz out of identifying the path forward and making it happen – for both strategy, projects, operations and people leadership Understanding of risk, IT policy framework and people management best practice is a must We are looking for relevant and transferable experience, education industry experience is not essential. Overall you must be a technology leader who can work at a strategic and operational level; and you are a change agent in a way that leads and looks after your team and your diverse customers.
