Summary of Responsibilities The St. Louis Cardinals are currently seeking a Summer Intern for their Publications Department. In this position, the intern will assist with critical components of publications operations and gain valuable, hands-on professional experience throughout the baseball season. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): editing content for print and digital platforms, managing pre-game field visits, processing and fulfilling orders, overseeing product inventory and providing creative ideas to promote products on the Club's social media and promotional outlets. Essential Functions of the Job Organize, sort and process mail orders Coordinate and manage field visits Handle specific mailing projects Assist with the transportation of products throughout the stadium Assist with editing proofs Provide ideas for creative marketing messages and social media content Inventory management Education and Experience Required Current enrollment in an accredited program at a College or University with a degree emphasis in Publishing, Business, Marketing, Journalism, Communications or a related field with a minimum Junior level status Strong customer service skills Knowledge of Mac platforms and Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills Education and Experience Preferred Current enrollment in an accredited program at a College or University with a minimum Senior level status Excellent customer service skills with retail and/or customer service experience Expert knowledge of Mac platforms and Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
