They are a technology company operating a range of content platforms that inform, educate, entertain and inspire people across languages, cultures and geographies, and driven by a passion to connect people with information. Job Description Head and review the company's Interconnection & Access policies and regulations via public or closed consultations with industry on identified issues. Oversee the implementation of interconnection and access frameworks. Establish and chair Industry Working Groups to address telecom operators’ technical and operational issues. Communicate and clarify Interconnection & Access regimes to industry, the public, international counterparts, relevant government agencies and internal stakeholders. Lead team to monitor regulatory, market and technological developments locally and overseas to ensure regulations remain relevant. Resolve commercial differences and disputes between licensees. Guide the team in the investigation of licensees’ complaints on issues that stem from interconnection and access matters. Job Requirements At least 10 years working experience, preferably in the ICT or telecoms industries, with at least 5 years in a management capacity. Good working knowledge and understanding of info-communication technologies and telecom networks. Working knowledge and understanding of the inter-relationship between the retail and wholesale telecommunications market including network and service separation Good knowledge of local and global telecommunications markets and regulatory developments.
