We invest in our people first and foremost, so that to create a culture of excellence, recognition and ethics that is above all fun to be a part of We are currently recruiting a General Manager to drive our 2020 Romania operations launch The GM position is one of the most exciting, autonomous and impactful roles at Spotawheel. You will be the sole leader of all Romanian operations, and part of Spotawheel’s Leadership team As GM of Romania you will own the full country’s P&L, working both with your own local team and central HQ to meet targets set. You will be engaging closely with the CEO and founding team, supported by strong operations, sales, marketing, technology and rest functional teams to help you leverage our experience and expertise You will be managing all business activities: from hiring your team, to optimizing buy-sell processes, to building strong relationships with the local automotive industry and FI institutions. You will be responsible for launching, scaling and eventually dominating the Romanian market If you enjoy making things happen, combining superb analytical thinking and fast problem solving at the same time, this is the right role for you. Your key responsibilities will be to: Own Romania's P&L and KPIs, reporting directly to the CEO Develop and grow your own country team Define the short, mid and long-term roadmap to achieve growth and profitability targets for the country Build solid business relationships with key customers for the organization (suppliers, wholesalers, operations centers, FIs) and the local automotive ecosystem Unlock new revenue opportunities while enhancing core value proposition Represent the company both internally and externally Be an ambassador of the company’s culture, spirit and values Requirements 5+ years of relevant experience in leadership roles, ideally with P&L ownership and team leadership capabilities Demonstrated ability to work independently at great speeds, navigating succesfully through complex situations Entrepreneurial drive, adaptability and focus on results Prior automotive experience will be considered a plus (not a prerequisite) Benefits Steep learning curve Competitive compensation Generous stock option plan Unlimited support to achieve your personal aspirations
