About Sportsgirl

Sportsgirl is more than just a store: it’s a community of girls across Australia who are individual, playful, confident and of course, oh-so fashionable! Whether you love heading into one of their 110+ stores to check out their monthly collections or get your fashion fix online or on your mobile, you’re a member of the Sportsgirl community! Sportsgirls have instant access to the latest trends, exclusive designer collaborations and vintage collections - and Sportsgirl loves showing you how to style it up whether it be one of their in store stylists, the VIP Style Me Studios or their Style Me collections online. With a rep as an up-the-minute fashion leader, Sportsgirl is committed to discovering and supporting new talent, promoting positive body image through their partnership with the Butterfly Foundation, and bringing the best and brightest fashion news and talent direct to you in store and online. Top it off with a jam-packed calendar of in store events, DJs and make-up artists, exclusive offers and comps, and the hottest fashion news and partnerships – what are you waiting for? Join the Sportsgirl love in! Sportsgirl is as much an attitude and about providing an experience as it is about fashion. It’s about creativity, striving for new challenges, supporting new ideas, appreciating the fun of the moment and working hard for shared goals. A Sportsgirl reflects all these qualities, and more. Sounds like someone you know? Then have a look at their jobs! Whatever your goal – Sportsgirl is more than a job, it’s your dream career. The Sportsgirl Style How To Get Started HOW TO APPLY You can apply directly to a job vacancy listed on our careers page. Can't quite find the dream role you're after? Fill in an 'Expressions of Interest' form online so we know your job preferences & we have you in our database when the perfect role comes up. Once you have done either of the above, you'll automatically have your own career profile with a login and password - so you can keep checking back to see where your application is at. In future you can also use your account to apply for any additional positions or update your details. PRO TIP: you can also sign up for tailored Job Alerts, so you’ll never miss that dream opportunity and we'll never miss out on you! To set one up, head to our 'Job Search' page & select 'Subscribe to Job Alerts'. WHAT TO EXPECT If you meet the requirements of the role, you can expect to hear from us shortly via phone – stay tuned! Unfortunately we can't take everyone to the next stage of the recruitment process and therefore will always take the key selection criteria into account when reviewing your application. If you are not successful this time around, don’t give up! Think of it as an opportunity to start thinking about what your key strengths and core skill-set are so that you can hone in on these in your next application. You also might be able to identify some further development you might be able to undertake to support you in your next job application. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR? Passionate team members who genuinely love working with people and customers. If fashion is your thing and you could see yourself build your dream career with us, we want to hear from you! PREPARING FOR AN INTERVIEW Always do your homework! Review the job advert and make sure you understand what Sportsgirl & the role is about. We want to know why you would be the best person for the role - so have a think as to what you could bring to the team. Most importantly, be yourself! After all, we may be looking for someone exactly like you! WHAT TO WEAR? We're a fashion brand and our hot tip is to dress for the role you're applying for. Still in doubt? Smart casual is a safe bet! And we know what you're thinking, 'do I have to wear Sportsgirl?' Wearing a Sportsgirl piece won't guarantee you the job, but it will guarantee a smile on our faces - and a laugh if you and the interviewer are wearing the same thing (it happens)!
