The salaried caregiver provides support and companionship to the individual, working as part of a collaborative team that includes community support workers, professional supports, and of course the individual and their family. Finding the right match and creating a supportive home environment that feels as natural as possible is the goal. The expectation is that you will live with the individual in their home and that this will be your principal place of residence. K is a fun loving lady who lives in a lovely apartment on the west side. K loves to be in lively environments. She loves life. This would be a great opportunity for someone who also loves to be out and about enjoying the beautiful city we live in. Location: Vancouver (west side) Reports to: Manager Rate of Pay: $2121.80/month salary plus free room and board, live-in position, tax free. Probation: 3 Months Driving Requirement: Driving not required Preferred Training or Experience: No experience necessary, we will train you. Specific Training or Experience Required: Computer proficiency (email, Word, internet usage) Expected Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 4:30 pm to 8:30 am Friday 8:30 am to 8:30 am on Saturday Off Saturday from 8:30 am until 9:30 pm on Sunday The hours of this position could be different for the right person.
