ATO Assembler: Hand-on assembly of educational lecterns and various storage carts utilizing various hand tools, including cordless drills, socket sets, torque wrenches, etc. Brake Press Operator: Set up and/or operate power-press machines or power-brake machines to bend, form, stretch, punch, or straighten metal or plastic plate and structural shapes, as specified by work order, blueprints, drawing, templates, or layout. Electrical Assembly: Assembly of power strips that will be inserted into all the carts. The work is fast paced and repetitive and associates use a variety of hand held tools including: crimper, screw drivers, cordless drills, pliers, and a wire stripper machine which is used to strip the coating off the wires. The job involves installing and securing the wiring and connectors into the power strip case. Assembly requires upper arm strength, and each connection must be tested to make sure they are operational and secured. Finishing Helper: Loading and unloading parts from the finishing conveyor line, scuffing (light hand sanding) of wood parts after first coat of sealant, hand sanding and wiping. There will be exposure to stains, lacquers, some fumes, overhead reaching and a lot of repetitive hand motion. It’s a messy job, but no heavy lifting. Machine Operator: Physically demanding, hands-on work assembly using clutch drill to attach threaded inserts into particle board work surfaces, in addition to other hands-on requirements. May be loading and/or unloading edgebanding and panel cutting / boring equipment. Packaging: Package, label, wrap, band and prepare orders for shipment. Powder Coating Assistant: Hang and off load parts from the conveyor in the powder coating area; spraying parts; grind/sand parts; must have hand tool and machine operation experience. This does involve bending, stooping, lifting parts up to 20 pounds, mid level to overhead reaching, and is fast paced. Rough Mill: This assignment will range from hand sanding of the corner mouldings, to operating the chop saw and helping the pallet assembly area. Appropriate familiarity with tools and related work experience would be required. Shipping/Warehouse: Package and prepare finished product for shipment out to customers; produce and adhere labels to the packages with correlating customer address. May operator pallet jack and forklift equipment. Warehouse/Parts Picker: Pick parts by item number for production floor and/or accessories for shipment. May operator pallet jack and forklift equipment. Please specify your preferred shift and work area. Required Experience: Must be 18 years of age on first day of employment; on the job training provided. While performing the duties of these jobs, the employee is regularly required use hands to handle, move and lift products, many of these activities are repetitive. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop and crouch as part of the assembly process. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
