Our Healthier South East London (OHSEL) is the capital’s first and only approved integrated care system (ICS). Our strategic finance team is recruiting an ambitious and forward-thinking qualified accountant to support the Senior Financial Analyst. Working with colleagues from NHS providers, the new South East London CCG (SEL CCG) and NHS England and NHS Improvement, the ICS finance team provides financial strategy support to transformation workstreams, coordinates financial planning across the system and supports the ICS leadership in analysis and benchmarking of system organisations. The strategic finance team has recently formed in preparation for the merger of SEL CCG. Working across the health system will provide access to a variety of experiences across different sectors of the NHS. This is an exciting opportunity to join south east London as the ICS concept and national policy evolve. As the Financial Analyst you will assist in the development of financial models to inform strategic and operational planning, provide support in preparation of reporting and returns, as well as performing ad-hoc analysis for projects across the health system. The role involves performing analysis using a range of data sources on complex issues and will require the post-holder to be a confident user of Excel with creative problem-solving skills. In addition, the role requires excellent communications skills and the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
