Our extensive knowledge and cutting-edge technology have solidified our presence in the industry as we continue to maximize our potential. We are looking to fill a full-time Cost Analyst. Wage and benefits will depend on knowledge and experience of candidate. Responsibilities / Requirements may include but are not limited to: Review, evaluate and analyse job costs upon closing Compare project results to budget monthly to ensure targets are met Calculate job accruals quarterly based on budgeted numbers Calculate and evaluate shop labour rates Review and maintain WIP and Inventory Summary reports Review and assess labour allocations for accuracy (both direct and indirect labour hours) Ensure sales orders and job delivery dates are maintained Assist in daily accounting functions Requirements & Qualifications: Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills Experience in cost and management reporting Advanced spreadsheet skills and proficiency in the use of computer systems and ERP software Organized, methodical and able to remain calm and focused, is able to accomplish multiple and changing priorities by appropriately structuring workflow 2 years experience as a Cost Accountant or an equivalent amount of experience as a Financial Analyst within a manufacturing environment Completed university degree in Accounting or Finance is an asset 2 years experience in Cost Estimating and/or Engineering is an asset Job Type: Full-time
