Complete assignments related to routine refurbishment, modification, and rework of Solar centrifugal gas compressors. Nature and Scope Responsible for all activities involved in the compressor assembly/disassembly process including test support to a predetermined schedule. Must have a positive attitude and ability to work closely and effectively with internal and external customers. Must be dependable with the willingness to work overtime and weekends. Specific assignments will require incumbent to work in a team environment and provide back-up support to team members and other teams. Principal Accountabilities Principal accountabilities may include, but are not limited to the following: Perform compressor preparation work Perform compressor prep and build Installation of all devices and components per engineering drawings Responsible for following Solar Quality Assurance Standards (QAS) Engineering Specifications (ES) and compressor planning during assembly process. Identify root cause of issues during production and document issues. Installation of test equipment and support during testing of compressor. Support of Compressor shipment and rigging. Follow all safety and environment practices and report any unsafe conditions, broken and/or malfunctioning equipment. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
