Smile Doctors is seeking an Insurance Revenue Specialist to join our team and add to our Ultimate Patient Experience! Insurance Revenue Specialists are responsible for: Maintaining current insurance practices, requirements, and forms Verifying insurance coverage and benefits Verifying proper reimbursements is received for service provided Processing and following up on insurance claims Communication with both insurance companies and patients in regards to claims and payments due Primary duties of the Insurance Revenue Specialist include: Reviewing patient accounts and determining appropriate billing distributions Processing payments Reviewing past due bills and following up on past due accounts Working and maintaining assigned accounts receivable aging to appropriate levels This candidate must have the following skills: Excellent communication skills – written and oral Ease of working on the phone Good problem solving skills Excellent attention to detail and ability to stay current with policy changes Responsible use of confidential information Perform to organization standards of compliance with policies and procedures Desire to be part of a team, neat appearance and positive attitude Ability to multi-task and work courteously and respectfully with fellow team members, clients and patients
