You’ll be working with other like-minded developers to contribute to the development and success of critical applications. For this role we are seeking an enthusiastic C# developer and natural communicator who approaches software development intelligently by minimising unnecessary complexity and contributing effectively to the development of our software components and services. You’ll be comfortable working across the software stack and particularly enjoy contributing to performant, highly multi-threaded, service oriented architectures. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Write performant, highly available, scalable, asynchronous sports trading applications Assume a key role in design and planning sessions with other developers and clients Ownership in the development of our applications and services from inception to delivery Participate in code reviews and share knowledge proactively Provide development experience and guidance to our automation testers Work with our Operations Developers to resolve escalated support issues SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/INTERESTS Essential: An ability to solve complex problems with simple solutions At least 4 years’ development experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a similar industry such as betting, financial or online gaming A strong knowledge of C#. Net 4.5+ and enterprise messaging systems (e.g. RabbitMQ) A fundamental desire to produce code of the highest standard An open-minded, proactive and collaborative approach to software development Desirable:. Net Core Azure Service Fabric Experience with source control including Pull-Requests with GIT Angular 2+ (version 7 ideal) SQL Server 2012+ (T-SQL queries) Keen interest in sport, especially football TECHNOLOGIES WE CURRENTLY USE Visual Studio 2017 (C# 7), Azure DevOps, Microsoft Azure Service Fabric, Dapper, WPF, WCF, Redis, RabbitMQ, SQL Server, Asp.Net Core MVC API, GIT, Windows 10, WAMP, VMWare, Linux, Windows Server 2016 and many more.
