q To provide an efficient and friendly service to guests at all times placing emphasis on excellent customer service. q To ensure food service runs smoothly and efficiently at all times. q To be familiar with licensing customs / excise requirements q To prepare beer dispense units for service and change gas units. q To clear empty bottles, glasses, wash glasses and clean tables regularly. q To ensure the security of cash, stock and equipment at all times. q To deal with any customer queries as quickly and efficiently as possible. q To be responsible for routine cleaning of bar & restaurant areas as designated by your supervisor / manager. q To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming at all times. q To wear correct uniform and name badge at all times while on duty. q To be present and punctual for all in house training programmes. q All tasks to be carried out to Service Excellence standards in line with hotel policy. q To abide by the hotels health, safety and environmental procedures. q To report any health, safety or environmental hazards within the hotel. q To maintain a positive, friendly attitude with both hotel guests and your colleagues. q To participate in all relevant internal training. q Option of serving on committees within the Hotel. q To be responsible for the routine cleaning of designated areas such as changing rooms and staff canteen when required. q To assist when necessary in other departments.
