Summary: Skyline Investments is looking for a Senior Project Manager candidate that has a demonstrated portfolio of successfully managing real estate development projects and strong understanding of the industry. The Senior Project Manager will act as a primary sponsor to all activities, and as such must possess good technical, organizational and communication skills to add value and implement multiple tasks. Position: Senior Project Manager - Development Corporation: Skyline Investments Inc. Department: Development Reports to: Vice President – Development Location of work: Horseshoe Resort, Deerhurst Resort, other project locations as required Salary: Full Time Salary Benefits: In accordance with company policy Responsibilities: Working with the Senior VP of Development and Corporate Development Controller and Project Managers to develop and maintain project budgets, proformas and project schedules. Coordinate weekly project team meetings to review project budgets and schedules are being maintained. Working with construction management team, identify early any construction related issues and may affect the project budget and schedules. Working knowledge of the municipal approval process that is required in order to facilitate new development including items such as re-zoning and site plan applications from start to final approval. Work with senior management, Manager of Sales and Marketing, external marketing team & PR agencies to create and implement a fully integrated marketing, sales and communication strategy and plan. Support the day to day operations of the sales & marketing teams both in house and third-party consultants Establishes sales objectives by developing annual sales quotas and forecasts Manage and coordinate the Customer Care Program, including Tarion relations and after sales service. Manage the marketing research process and maintain an excellent working relationship with clients and home buyers Participate in the hiring and training of future employees; establish targets and incentives Coordinate, select and work with contracted finishing trades to ensure timely completion of building deficiencies. Liaise with the Skyline Construction Team, outside consultants included Architects, M&E, etc Develop Furniture Packages, Colour selections and other FF & E finishes. Liaise with the Resort Management Teams. Ensure proper coordination with construction and resort operations Qualifications: 7-10 years’ experience within land development industry Understanding and experience with municipal guidelines and requirements within Barrie and Huntsville areas Knowledge of the Tarion warranty program in construction would be an asset Experience completing commercial and residential construction projects A bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering or affiliated People management experience Fiscal management experience Creative thinking and the ability to work proactively with limited supervision Ability to multi-task and successfully manage multiple priorities with strict deadlines Strong analytical, and decision-making skills, very well organized and detail oriented Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a diverse team environment; excellent oral and written communication skills Business travel: As required within between Horseshoe Resort and Deerhurst Resort Other travel as requested To apply for this position please email your resume and affiliated documents to [email removed].
