Roles & Responsibilities The Aircraft Trainee Technician (Cabin Maintenance) programme is a 12-months programme uniquely offered by Singapore Aero Support Services Ptd Ltd, (SASS), (previously known as Singapore Jamco Services Pte Ltd). It is a specialized work-study in collaboration with Temasek Polytechnic, SIA Engineering Company and SASS. Trainee Technician will undergo a 3- months Partial Aerospace modules (2 out of 5) at Temasek Polytechnic, followed by a comprehensive classroom and practical training programme at SIA Engineering Company’s Training Academy. Trainee Technicians can look forward to attaining Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) and specialized skills in aircraft cabin modification, retrofitting and component repair. As an Aircraft Technician (Cabin Maintenance) with SASS, you can look forward to an exciting and rewarding career in specialized cabin maintenance services on the latest aircraft types for some of the top airlines worldwide. Participants can choose to undertake the remaining 3 Modular certificates (as Part-time) from TP to obtain the Diploma in Engineering (Aerospace).
