We’re on the look out for an exceptional Marketing Specialist to join us. What you will be doing This is a hands on role. You'll be working with the Head of Marketing and Sales in a high performing scrum team based in Wellington working across various activities including content writing, sponsorship and thought leadership events as the end to end ownership of client focused marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for contributing to and implementing an effective marketing strategy for Silverstripe, building on what we’ve already achieved and stepping up in your career to take our brand to new heights. Collaborating across our internal teams you’ll need to be a good sort and have excellent communication skills. You will have a love for technology and be skilled at distilling complex offerings into easy to understand client focused comms. You’ll also be an experienced digital marketer with SEO experience who’s confident using the latest tools and techniques to achieve results. Requirements We’re looking for a well-rounded individual who: Loves the web and has a natural ability to pick up technical information quickly Is self-directed — you take ownership of your role and you have an “I’ve got this” attitude Thrives in a team-driven, fast-paced work environment — your team can rely on you to pitch in and help them get over the line every time Here are the specifics of what we're after in a Marketing Specialist: You love marketing and are passionate about learning and applying new ideas You have great organisational skills Strong written communication skills Good attention to detail - important for both events and written comms You are creative - you can take a problem and find interesting solutions Market research/analytic skills - you are able to identify trends from data Ideally 3 - 5 years experience in marketing roles (but we’re open to seeing candidates with the right natural talent) How to apply At Silverstripe, we see finding the right team fit as crucial, so in the first instance we'll invite you for a casual coffee.
