As a Technical Intern, you will work within the Logistic and Production Planning team at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Ltd, Blade Factory in Hull. You will use your skills in a challenging environment within our team who operate in materials management. We require someone with enthusiasm, business experience and a willingness to adapt & facilitate change. The Logistics and Production Planning team are responsible for; Planning and scheduling production build based on customer requirements Controlling the flow of material into the factory by working closely with suppliers Ensuring the efficient transportation of material from suppliers to the production line Some of the task you will be involved include: Material ordering, confirmations and tracking Updating for quantities, order frequencies, re-order points Resolution of purchase order queries Managing supplier deliveries on set days & pallet quantity Working suppliers to improve delivery times Resolution of invoice queries What you need to make a difference A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for… Students who are current studying towards a degree and looking to complete a 12-month placement as part of your degree. You will have good analytical skills and strong oral and written communication skills. You will also have the below skills and experience: Proficient in Excel Analytical, with an eye for detail.
