Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a HCPC registered band 7, 8a or 8b Clinical or Counselling Psychologist who are interested in relocating to the South Island of New Zealand. About the role: Band – 7, 8a or 8b can be considered Contract type – Permanent Salary – between 66,000 NZD – 115,000 NZD Hours – part time and full time can be considered The candidate appointed will be joining an adult Psychology service where subject to the applicants previous experience will help identify where the candidate will best fit within Psychology team. Options available can include adult CMHT, neuro rehab, intellectual disabilities or a cancer support team. Adult CMHT – This will include assessment and therapeutic intervention for adult service users with moderate to severe mental illness. Neuro rehab – This will include neuropsychological and capacity assessments and cognitive rehabilitation interventions to adults suffering with physical and neurological conditions. Settings included are community, outpatient and inpatient Intellectual disabilities – This will include assessments and interventions on a 121 and group basis with adults who have dual diagnosis of a learning disability and mental health within a medium secure inpatient ward. Cancer support – This team provides psychosocial support and brief intervention to patients with cancer diagnosis. Relocation Support and contribution – An allowance will be provided to contribute to relocation. An example of what this can include is as follows: $450 contributed to relocation support including administrative support to arrange an coordinate logical support for fright of personal belongings, travel to an within NZ, accommodation to and within NZ to the time of start date $400 contributed to the assistance with professional registration $300 contributed to the assistance with work permits/immigration $100 contributed towards medical examinations (if required) $1250-1650 indicative fee for additional services Reference ID: SH 142/159 Part-time hours: 37.5 per week Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Salary: $66,000.00 to $115,000.00 /year
