WHOLESALE SUPPLY AND LOGISTICS ANALYST Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Committed to the values of initiative, responsibility, caring relationships, integrity, and innovation High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel High level of proficiency in statistical analysis Advanced Excel experience with VBA and Power Pivot are not required, but are highly valued Data Analysis and visualization experience using SQL and Power BI are not required, but are highly valued Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills Able to manage a variety of simultaneous administrative tasks Able to work flexible hours as needed Responsibilities: Provide market information and administrative assistance to the Wholesale Ops team Answer phones, take product orders, and ensure that all orders are scheduled with a carrier immediately Assist in the fuel buying process by collecting and reporting information throughout the day. Recommend and execute purchases with the approval of the General Manager Monitor market movement, communicate supplier price changes to sales personnel, and adjust loading points accordingly Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly ratability on petroleum contracts to ensure compliance Coordinate product pricing activities Monitor price imports from DTN to AXXIS and PDI; correct errors and maintain price integrity Track, update, and communicate product inventories on a daily basis Assist the sales team with customer quote requests in a timely manner Manage the end of day pricing and sourcing process Communicate with customers and suppliers in a courteous, professional, and timely manner Act as project manager and liaison between operations and IT Complete projects and other duties as assigned by the General Manager Authority: Recommend changes that will create efficiencies within the department Implement these changes with approval from the General Manager Make decisions regarding daily price quotes to customers based on predetermined protocol Purchase spot deals to satisfy daily demand and to maximize GP Not authorized to bind the company in any contract Relationships: Reports to the General Manager Maintains a pleasant, professional, and helpful relationship with coworkers, customers, peers, and suppliers.
