Duties and responsibilities Analyse engineering needs, design, engineer and test integrated IT architectures and systems used onboard Seismic vessels and, in the engineering centre Install and configure workstations/servers/storage/switches/magnetic tapes/GNSS Receivers/++ Evaluate new hardware solutions and manage vendors for the selected hardware Automate the installation and configuration of the various Systems Keep up to date with Technology developments in the field of IT as relevant to the role Qualifications 5+ years' experience in System Administration BS/MSc in IT engineering, computer science or related field Required experience with Linux environment deployment, automation and configuration tools, Kickstart OS installation, Puppet & Ansible installation/configuration Storage and file systems Network skills Personal qualities Excellent team player, positive attitude and desire to drive Creative and result oriented Comfortable with multiple parallel activities Good interpersonal and communication skills Good spoken and written English We can offer We offer professional challenges and demanding roles in a growing company, with highly skilled colleagues and space to leave your mark.
