SewerVUE Technology Corp. is a technology and service provider for the advanced condition assessment of commercial pipe infrastructure. The Company pioneered Pipe Penetrating Radar (PPR), an application of high-frequency Ground Penetrating Radar, which has been in use in North American markets since 2011. SewerVUE’s PPR technology is ideal for quantifying pipe wall cracks, mapping rebar cover, and measuring pipe wall thickness. Together with LiDAR, Sonar, and CCTV SewerVUE provides a complete assessment of critical underground pipe infrastructure; inside and out. We currently have an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our team in Coquitlam. This role will be varied and dynamic. The primary role will be to take ownership of service and product development projects. The Project Engineer will be required to develop products to service inspections and organize company resources to facilitate delivery. While the majority of the work will be done from an office, occasional field work will be required. QUALIFICATIONS: Education · A diploma or degree in engineering or the physical sciences. Skills/Experience Experience with computer aided design. Experience designing and building mechanical - electrical systems. Have written something in a modern programming language - Python, C++, JavaScript etc. Friendly and out-going personality; professional approach. A good command of the English language. An understanding of time management best practices. Highly organized. Ability to write grammatically correct technical reports. Good analytical and problem solving skills. Hold a valid driver’s license. The ability and availability to travel to the USA and abroad for short periods of time. Working knowledge of Ground Penetrating Radar and GPR signal processing would be an asset. Previous project management experience a plus. Occasional travel is required; must be eligible to enter the USA. Job Type: Full-time
