Job Title: Telecommunications Policy Analyst Job Location: Woodbridge, VA Security Clearance: Clearable Contract support is required to protect the interest of the Coast Guard due to national spectrum re-allocation initiatives to satisfy commercial broadband requirements. Additionally, the evolving uses of Command, Control, Communications, and Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) maritime equipment (i.e. Automatic Identification System (AIS), Shipboard Radars, and Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) require contract support to protect operational use of spectrum in national strategic plans and international forums such as the ITU, IMO, IALA, and the Inter-American Telecommunication Commission or Comisión Interamericana de Telecomunicaciones is an entity of the Organization of American States (CITEL). Will consider full-time or part-time for highly qualified candidates. Work can be supported remotely with travel to international conferences required (approx. 6 weeks annually). Required Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience analyzing spectrum requirements and systems - maritime experience preferred. Well versed in the processes of the ITU with a minimum of 3+ years of experience. Knowledge of the regulatory processes of the NTIA, FCC, and DOD with a minimum of 3+ years of experience. Well versed in the processes of CITEL and the Organization of American States (OAS) with a minimum of 3+ years of experience.
