We are looking for an efficient, self motivated and organised individual to join our team and provide an excellent level of support to our Finance team in the role of Accounts Payable Clerk The position encompasses a range of duties and responsibilities that support the full accounts payable process including (but not limited to): Overseeing AP for several entities multicurrency invoice/entry payments setting up creditors credit card control & reconciliation petty cash & cash control (foreign currency cash) Liaising with the company accountant ad hoc tasks, including associated administrative work As the ideal candidate you will also possess skills and qualities, which include (but are not limited to): Accounting, Commerce or Business studies an advantage (but not necessary) Relevant work experience in AP (minimum 2 years) An ability to maintain a high standard of accuracy & quality Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Good written and verbal communicator This role is part time only (20hrs a week) with some flexibility on days worked during the week. On occassion, you may be required to work some additional hours, but is always upon mutual agreement. Although the role is part time, you will need to be comfortable with managing your time and work priorities. The busy work environment also means you would have great organisational skills.
