Company Description SEEKA Technologies is currently developing an App-based platform that functions as a large and comprehensive search engine for educational courses (Vocational courses, Diplomas, Degrees, etc) being offered by thousands of educational institutions all over the world. The App will allow students and parents to filter the best suited places based on costs and location and more as well as get in contact with an experienced education counselor. We are currently looking to hire and train experienced education counselors who are passionate about helping young people build their careers and are willing to do it through more convenient means via the SEEKA mobile App. IMPORTANT NOTE: We are not looking for individuals who excel in sales or marketing, but more towards education and career counselling. Job Description Carrying out assessments and interviews on prospective students as well as follow-up interviews with them to ensure their needs have been met. Referring students to suited degree programs based on interests, aptitudes, or educational assessments. Identifying social problems, personal issues and other academic problems that may affect the students' studies for a study program they have chosen. Providing solutions to students who are currently facing problems with the study programs they have already chosen. Determining suitable career paths for the students/users. Providing the students/users more information about the degrees or learning programs they're interested in as well as the admission requirements of the educational institutions providing those programs. Providing assistance to students who wish to apply for scholarships Maintaining records of the students before and after they have applied for learning programs Ensuring consistent quality lead conversion and overall KPI Job Type: Full-time Salary: RM2500 to RM3500 Qualifications 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience A degree in Counselling or relevant work experience Excellent communication & listening skills Ability to discern actual interests such as when a student is not genuinely interested in studying Able to negotiate and reason with students/ parents who are fixated on learning programs that may not be suitable for them Must have a strong sense of integrity when dealing with any stakeholder Being Tech-savvy is a bonus Additional Information Benefits Flexible Working arrangements Professional Training will be given Commission is available
