Patrick O'Mahony - Site Security Manager, Cork Patrick has been involved in the security industry for the last twenty-five years in various roles from the Retail to the Commercial Sector. In addition to frontline roles, Pat has worked in security scheduling administration and strategic security operations planning. He started his career as a Security Officer and worked his way through the ranks to Security Manager. Patrick decided he wanted to get involved in a Security company that could nurture his ever-ambitious personality. Patrick joined Securitas in 2009, where he worked for several years on the frontline and training of fellow Securitas security officers in Cork. He embedded himself as a reliable key member of the Securitas team in Munster. During this time, Pat worked enthusiastically promoting and developing the Securitas brand in the greater Cork area and was responsible for customer service delivery in the region. In 2018 Pat joined the Securitas team at the world’s leading high-tech company in Ovens. In the short space of time, Pat has been in the team, he has forged excellent relationships with his colleagues and peers at the client site. It is through these relationships, Pat has sought to deliver, influence and exceed the customer service delivery level expectations from within the high-tech client. In this time Pat also successfully completed his QQI Level 6 Security Management Certificate. It is Pat’s ambition, in the next 12 months, to complete his fellowship exams as a member of the Security Institute of Ireland and the ASIS International Security body. In April 2020, Patrick was promoted to the position of Site Security Manager. Barry Roche - Datacenter Physical Security, Dublin "Great company to work for, good support from management, plenty of opportunities, there is a lot of internal promotion." Darren O’Brien – Operations Manager, Dublin Darren started his career in the Irish Security Industry in 2009 as a security officer in a busy pharmaceutical facility. In 2014 Darren transferred to Securitas Ireland when we were awarded the Security Contract for the site he was working in at the time. Darren told us that; “After all these years with Securitas, I have to say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.” In 2015 Darren was promoted to the position of Site Security Supervisor on a busy pharmaceutical plant in Co Wicklow. In late 2017, Darren saw an advertisement for a Branch Administrators position based in the Securitas Head Office in Clonee and decided to apply. “I was looking to further my career in the security industry and seen this as a great opportunity to progress in Securitas.” “Thankfully, I was successful and took up my new role as the Branch Administrator for Branch Manager Des Leech in January 2018. During this time, I worked closely with Des and Operations Manager Louise Bagnall and supported the day-to-day running of the Branch and learned a lot from both Des and Louise on how the business works.” In May 2020, Darren was promoted to the position of Operations Manager for the responsibility of a commercial portfolio alongside Branch Manager Louise Bagnall.
