JOB TITLE: HR Manager - Corporate REPORTING TO: HR Director - Onshore SALARY: £80,000 per annum LOCATION: Chiswick, London 1 ROLE SUMMARY The HR Manager – Corporate is responsible for delivering the HR service to Corporate London and Liverpool offices. This includes oversight of the operational and strategic HR requirements for the overall population, as well as business partnering support to stakeholders in business. The HR Manager assists the HR Director in supporting and improving the global HR service to Corporate populations globally and is responsible for managing the Corporate HR Business Partner, HR Advisor and HR Administrator at London and Liverpool. This generalist role sits in a key position within the Global HR team, and the incumbent will be expected to develop, role model and share good practice HR with the global HR team, including leading and contributing to projects in the UK and globally 2 JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for ensuring high quality HR delivery to the Corporate London and Liverpool teams, throughout the employee lifecycle, including but not limited to: Recruitment and building a strong talent pipeline, alongside the Resourcing Team Onboarding and induction Employee relations, including contractual terms and conditions, absence management, performance issues and disciplinary and grievance redressal Payroll and benefits Health and wellbeing initiatives and principles Performance management and succession planning Talent management, learning and development Organisation design, structure and restructuring Exit processes, including resignation, dismissal, redundancy and Settlement Agreements Providing strategic and day-to-day leadership and HR expertise to drive the delivery of the business’ HR plans Providing Business Partnering support to stakeholders and leaders in the business, and building trusted relationships with them Coaching and advising managers on effective people management and team leadership, including support on Organizational Development, change management, employee development and engagement Consulting with managers to improve working relationships and morale, increase productivity and retention and develop and nurture a culture in alignment with organization vision and values Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that support business objectives Providing guidance on employment legislation including keeping abreast of relevant laws and legislation and interpreting and implementing them in the business context Ensuring consistent and fair application of compensation and reward policy across the business Collaborating with the Compensation & Benefits team on management and administration of employee benefits Management of the Immigration Sponsor License and liaising with third party service providers on guidelines and procedures for employee mobility and relocation Proactively gathering, analyzing and using HR analytics data and metrics to provide enhanced business insight and support decision making Responsible for GDPR compliance of the HR function and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure GDPR principles and directives are communicated and implemented Effectively utilizing and leveraging the new HR ERP system to automate and transform HR processes and ensure best use of the technology Leading and participating in HR projects on a local and global basis, including being a member of relevant HR workgroups Recommending and delivering strategies and improvements and leading, encouraging and delivering a continuous improvement mindset and ways of working 3 SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Extensive experience in a generalist human resources role at a management level, supporting diverse business groups People management and project management experience International HR experience with experience in business partnering global populations Experience of leading and providing direction on change management and organization design and restructure Experience in HR Consulting preferably with cross-industry client engagements Strong understanding of HR techniques, tools and trends Experience with HR metrics Experience in HR process mapping and development of business process documentation Experience of delivering and implementing HR Technology including ERP systems and understanding of how business processes impact such systems Knowledge of employment and other relevant laws including IR35 and GDPR legislations Holding a Master’s Degree or equivalent qualification in human resource management Must be able to demonstrate an ability to balance operational needs of the business while maintaining long-term strategic focus A problem-solver, tenacious about reaching a solution Highly organized and a structured approach Excellent time management and prioritizing skills has an appropriate sense of urgency Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Able to influence people at all levels of the organization Able to analyze information and data and identify trends A self-starter, able to work on own initiative A team player, willing and able to get involved Supportive approach, a can-do, positive attitude Flexible approach, no job too big or too small Closing date: 19th March 2020.
