Sea Harvest Accountant Full Time Sea Harvest is a family run business with wholesale and retail operations at Fyshwick and Belconnen Markets. We’re offering an exciting full-time opportunity for a Company Accountant who has demonstrated experience in wholesale and retail food operations. This is a busy, all-round role and you will be a proactive, self-motivated and organised individual who thrives in a small team environment. You will be managing the full accounting function end-to-end, including day to day financial operations, payroll, financial analysis and reporting, month end accounting, budgeting, business planning and accounts management. We're looking for a self-starter, who can contribute ideas, implement initiatives and drive things to the next level. You'll have relevant experience in taking ownership of the entire accounting function from start to finish. Plus, you’ll enjoy being part of a collaborative, supportive and results driven team that thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role Reporting to and working closely with the Managing Director, your duties will include but are not limited to: · Production of monthly management reporting. · Processing of payroll. · Ensure the accuracy of the balance sheet and managing all reconciliations. · Managing all accounts payable and receivable. · Preparation of the company's BAS and Payroll. · A range of other financial analyses to help us understand and improve our business. What you'll bring: · Prior industry work experience. · Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel. · Good knowledge of Xero Accounting Software. · Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. · A willingness to challenge the existing process and build new workflows. · Self-motivation with a keen desire to go above and beyond. · Strong communication skills and a strong team-player. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $60,000.00 /year Experience: Xero: 1 year (Preferred) Accounting: 1 year (Preferred)
