Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our Sales Team and support North Africa region! The ideal candidate must develop new sales partners, promote products, involved in after sales services, participate in technical proposals, bids, plan and organize conferences and seminars and provide customer training. Must have excellent communication skills in English and French and experience in using international numerical protection and automation products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1.Develop new end users and new sales partners, promote product and services sales, and track progress toward sales goal. 2. Maintain regular contact with and serve customers. 3. Participate in the preparation of technical proposals and bids for new projects. 4. Coordinate business activities and plan and organize customer visits, conferences and seminars, and provide customer training. 5. Collect, analyze and report customer feedback on products and services. 6. Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles. 7. Understand. Create. Simplify. 8. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications B.S. in Electrical Engineering and related business experience Minimum 8 years’ business development and sales experience Minimum 3 years’ experience in electric power industry Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management role Excellent presentation, communication and power industrial market development skills Ability to travel 50% of the working time Self-motivated and demonstrated team player Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment Background check results satisfactory to SEL Negative drug test result(s) Preferred Qualifications Experience using international numerical protection and automation products Strong English read and writing skills desired An Award Winning Company Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc.
