We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operator to join our growing team in our Heathrow branch. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful global company. The purpose of the role is to contribute to an efficient processing of operational activities within our 24/7 warehouse team servicing our all branch customers. The Role: Receiving inbound and outbound export and import freight (using GXD system) Booking in freight (using GXD system) Loading and unloading of vehicles using forklift truck Sort and split freight as per customer Standard Operating Processes Reporting any operational queries to relevant Supervisor / Manager Develop and maintain good, professional working relationships with other departments and external suppliers Strict adherence to customer KPI's Forklift training and license will be provided Working 4 days on, 4 days off 0600 - 0600 About you: Previous demonstrable experience in a fast-moving distribution environment Strong demonstrable communication and (IT skills, desirable) Demonstrable flexible and proactive approach in order to meet and exceed operational objectives Practical mathematical skills Counterbalance Forklift licence (preferable) Our benefits: Competitive salary Shift Allowance 19.5 days annual leave Enhanced Autoenrollment Pension Company provided medical cash plan Enhanced family friendly benefits At DB Schenker, you are part of a global logistics network that connects the world.
