Job Summary Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality or any other relevant field. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role. (Must have the knowledge of Air Ticketing International & Domestic & GDS) In-depth knowledge of domestic and foreign travel destinations. Excellent sales and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively. Outstanding knowledge of the latest tourism trends. Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems, GDS systems and e-travelling, Find fare and schedule information Fluency in English; multilingualism is a plus Personal travel experience will be considered an advantage Responsibilities and Duties Plan and sell personal & corporate (Business) transportations, accommodations, insurance and other travel services Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate destination, modes of transportations, travel dates, costs and accommodations Strong sales skills and commercial awareness Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively Meet profit and sales targets, manage budgets and maintain statistical and financial records Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds Take part in familiarisation visits to new destinations, to gather information on issues and amenities of interest to consumers Deal with customer enquiries and aim to meet their expectations Provide sales reports to head office Implement alternative and innovative ideas for achieving new business Oversee the smooth, efficient running of the business. Meeting regularly with team leaders to give them sales figures and plan how they approach their work.
