Cardiac Physiologist (Device Trainee) – Cardiac Investigations Unit. Band 6. We are currently looking for enthusiastic Cardiac Physiologists to work within our busy friendly Cardiology department. We require the post holder to work within both non-invasive & invasive cardiology, including an on call service. The post may require varying shift patterns and the ability to work on call. We are a small but expanding department, offering a range of investigations including Bradycardia Device implants and follow up, Complex Device implants and follow up including S-ICDs and implant, TTE, TOE and physiologist led stress echo and a PCI Service which includes Primary PCI. As a Band 6 you will be expected to be proficient in all the basic tests, PCI including on call along with progression to a speciality. An interest in Devices is essential and you would be encouraged to work towards BHRS accreditation.
