Pathology First delivers full laboratory services to a population of 750,000 patients and over 100 GP practices in the South East. The post holder will form part of the HR Department in Basildon and will also travel to surrounding sites. Applicants should have intermediate skills in Excel. Duties include: To provide organisational insight on a comprehensive range of staffing matters through the analysis of data; providing guidance to support the delivery of strategic people related policy and decision making. Research, analyse and present data as directed to ensure they meet organisation requirements. Evaluate information and identify errors, omissions and anomalies, working appropriately to cleanse data. Develop standard and ad hoc reports, templates, dashboards, scorecards, and metrics. Write and present detailed reports. Reporting clear, accurate and convincing findings in a way that is accessible to the audience To build and maintain, productive relationships with Senior Management Team, Operational Managers, all employees, HR colleagues and staff representatives To provide generalist HR services to all stakeholders including managers, partners and staff with the intention of achieving excellent standards of service quality Desired Skills and Experience Graduate membership of the CIPD or higher (or qualified by equivalent experience). Strong Excel skills and working to deadlines. Educated to degree level. Previous demonstrable experience of successfully analysing and disseminating large and complex quantitative data sets and statistical analysis. Excellent analytical problem-solving skills Strong research skills and the ability to evaluate information and identify errors, omissions and anomalies. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. Good working knowledge of payroll, undertaking reconciliation of a payroll and progressing staff changes through the payroll. Up to date knowledge of employment legislation. Ability to convey ideas and advice clearly, concisely, with conviction and in a persuasive manner.
