About the opportunity: SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support our Marketing and Pursuits Resources Team. This position will be an integral part of our team’s growth and will be trained on and assist with a wide variety of marketing activities. In order to be considered for the position, a cover letter must accompany your resume. What you will accomplish: Provide proposal support assistance (resumes, project descriptions, and other qualification information; document production; etc.) Support strategic business development activities (research, manage data, distribute/track action items, etc.) Maintain Deltek Vision database data and other marketing software tools Assist with opportunity and market research projects Review, distribute, and track daily bid solicitations Experience and qualifications for success: Required: A Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, Marketing, or related discipline (degrees in other specialties are acceptable if relevance can be demonstrated). Prior marketing exposure Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite Excellent attention to detail Ability to complete duties and multi-task in a busy environment Exceptional communication, listening and networking skills Preferred: Involvement in an association or volunteer organization or internship Experience working in professional services, preferably in the A/E/C or scientific industries Knowledge in environmental consulting or architecture/engineering Experience working in Deltek Vision, SharePoint, or comparable management information system Experience working with Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Creative Cloud
