Roles & Responsibilities Purpose of the Job Provide support to Sales Manager and tendering team in spare parts enquiry, prepare quotations and orders. Order entry in SAP; liaison between factories, agents, customers and other company disciplinary groups. Some direct customer contact is expect (20% of time). To manage and provide logistics and shipping support for all General Industry related orders in accordance with customer and Sulzer requirements. Main tasks and responsibilities: Attend to incoming inquiry, prompt reply/acknowledgement to customer (Quote or no quote). On-time preparation and submittal of quotation/tenders to customer. Establishes or obtains accurate lead-times information from Factories. Liaison with Sales Representative/Agents and Factories. Attend to customer clarifications and assist sales person to close the orders (including proposal revisions, follow-up). Proper order handling and Order Entry in SAP. Follow-up on orders and expedition of deliveries. Shipment related duties. Handling and executing EXPORT shipments to customers in Asian countries. Follow-up and expedite of IMPORT shipments (mainly pumps) from overseas factories/suppliers. Accurate review of contracts, especially related to payment terms and delivery terms. Handling of L/C and T/T from customers. Liaising with freight forwarders/shipping agents on bookings of shipments. Obtain freight and shipping costs from local freight forwarders. Prepare shipping documents such as Delivery Order, Invoice, Packing List, certificates etc. Proper filing and recording. Education requirements: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or with relevant good experience Job experience: Preferably with 1-2 years of working experience Experience in sales/tendering in process or added advantage if knowledge of General Industry in PPI, Food, metal and Fertilizer Industries, Industria Waste Water Knowledge requirements (professional, technical, language): Knowledge of export sales Financial/budget management General computer skills Competencies and behaviour required (What strengths needed?)
