Header Position Summary The Director of Distribution Sales, EMEA drives growth and profitability through STERIS Endoscopy’s distribution network in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This is achieved through leadership of the international sales management team, management of select markets, portfolio growth and expansion as well as relationship building with STERIS Endoscopy’s distribution partners and key opinion leaders. Duties 1. Accountable for achieving STERIS Endoscopy’s revenue and profitability objectives in EMEA. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed those objectives. 2. Manages International Sales team. Provides leadership, training, and support to develop team. Responsible for setting objectives and the performance review process. 3. Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability in the region. This will be achieved through collaboration with International Marketing Management, Product Management, Clinical Affairs and Training. 4. Manage the annual fiscal planning process including revenue planning and operating budgets for the assigned region. 5. Reviews sales and market analysis and recommends sales and pricing strategies. 6. Prepare monthly reports on the sales and forecast for the region. Maintain a reporting structure with distributors to collect field data. 7. Responsible for the P&L of the region for all STERIS Endoscopy products. Pursue business activities that will increase the overall profit of the area. 8. Sales analysis to identify market and product performance trends. Develop and implement strategies in partnership with International Marketing and Product Management. 9. Responsible for the recruiting, training and development of distributors to achieve the sales and marketing objectives. 10. Coordinate product training as appropriate to maintain high technical and sales standards for the sales team. Develop sales skills that sell the value of the products. 11. Support sales management, distributors and customers with technical assistance regarding application and use of products. Coordinate necessary corporate resources to support product registration and customer satisfaction. 12. Develop strong relationships with and with clinical thought leaders, to promote STERIS Endoscopy products and contribute to the building of the STERIS Endoscopy brand throughout the EMEA region. Required Experience 1. Bachelors degree in Business or related field 2. 10 years of international business experience to include business to business sales in the healthcare market 3. Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing international distributor relationships 4. Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing a team Skills and/or business competencies: 1. Demonstrated strong leadership and interpersonal skills. 2. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability. 3. Ability to think strategically. 4. Fluency in foreign language (Spanish, Italian, French) a plus. 5. Strong P&L management skills with emphasis on growth, revenue and income generation.
