The Manager, Marketing and Communications will execute STEP’s strategic marketing and communications programs, campaigns and initiatives in Canada and the United States. This role will work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to support STEP’s unique, client-focused sales strategy: The Exceptional Client Experience. The role is also focused on communications tactics that will promote and support the company’s unique corporate culture and the Exceptional Employee Experience. This individual will develop goals, strategies, and implementation plans to execute comprehensive and cohesive marketing campaigns for all of STEP Energy Services external activities. The manager will oversee the company’s marketing and communications team helping to develop STEP’s internal and external communications plans which promote the company. WE REQUIRE: Related education: Relevant post-secondary education Related experience: A minimum of eight years of experience in the marketing, communications with minimum three years in a leadership role. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the marketing, communications or public relations Experience within the oilfield service industry would be considered an asset. Demonstrated experience in communications, brand management and the execution of marketing plans and event marketing. Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint are required. Experience in Photoshop, InDesign or other graphic design programs are considered an asset.
