Your Job Logistics software needs to be as fast as possible and exceptionally reliable. You and your team will develop the code that underlies our software modules. You will implement feature requests for new processes or technical requirements. You will also be seconded to other project teams for a few months at a time, in order to work on implementation projects that require your product knowledge. As a junior member of the team, your primary task will be programming. As you gain experience, you will also take on training responsibilities and be tasked with programming more complex software components. Your Profile You understand and enjoy the challenges involved in networked processes. You work well with others and really enjoy being part of a team. You have good knowledge of object-oriented programming in JAVA. Prior experience of software development would be an advantage. You have a good understanding of databases, as well as Oracle, MS SQL Server and/or UNIX/LINUX, and Windows operating systems. We work with people across the world, usually via video conference. However, we sometimes meet face-to-face, so you should enjoy some travel as part of your role.
