Spot Holdings is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic dog lover to join their team. Whether you are looking for an entry level role or a supervisor’s role, casual, part time or full time - we are considering all applications for the right person. Spot is a leading dog-daycare and boarding provider with multiple locations in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. The basic minimum requirements (non-negotiable): Available to attend a 2 hour work trial shift Looking for a long term position Fit and able to run, jump and move big dogs if necessary Good with names (paw-ticularly dog names) Calm and compassionate nature, especially with dogs A friendly and confident personality Able to follow clear instructions and procedures unsupervised Able to work long days, on your feet, in a high pressure environment A passion for, strong desire to learn, or aspiration to continue your development with canine behaviour and psychology Basic computer knowledge (opening/editing documents, accessing email, using social media and online programs) Please don’t apply if you do not meet the minimum basic requirements above. Applications with the following will be looked upon favourably: Previous experience working with animals Full driver’s license Works well within a diverse team The role will be dog daycare focused with possible customer service, supervisory and/or retail requirements for suitable/experienced candidates. There is flexibility to consider applications for varying hours and work locations. The successful candidate will be remunerated starting at the relevant award rate plus super.
