PURPOSE The Marketing Specialist works closely with the Product Managers and other groups within marketing department to support new product releases and to manage product lines throughout their life cycle. The marketing specialist is also responsible for support in development of marketing strategy and initiatives and in its implementation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES ❑ Assist Product Managers to gather, analyze and research potential markets, market size, competition, pricing and other market factors. ❑ Manage price lists and support in the pricing implementation for new product release. ❑ Support execution of marketing strategy such as product promotion campaigns and sales growth in targeted industries. ❑ Identify target users for internal and external market survey and execute the survey. ❑ Assist in development of marketing tools to support product promotion ❑ Support Product Managers in new product launches by driving clear product messaging and ensure other departments understand product features and differentiators ❑ Content generation for internal and external communication via print and digital media ❑ Support implementation of marketing plan to support direct sales and sales growth through indirect channels. ❑ Any other marketing or product management related tasks as assigned by the manager of the Product Marketing Group. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT ❑ Fast Paced Corporate Culture ❑ Office Environment ❑ Sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ❑ 0-2 years of experience in engineering, marketing or product management. Experience in industrial products is highly preferred. ❑ Bachelor’s degree is required for this position. Related work experience will also be considered. ❑ Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills ❑ Demonstrated ability to work in cross functional and team oriented environment ❑ Show intermediate verbal and written communication skills ❑ Proficiency in spreadsheet tools such as Microsoft Excel ❑ Ability to travel as needed ( < 5%)
