Our partners are looking for candidates without F&B experience as this is a Place and Train programme under WSG Professional Conversion Programme (PCP) for the food-service sector. How it works Interview will be scheduled for qualified candidates with the participating company. Once you are selected by PCP partner company, you will be offered for a full-time position and will undergo 6 months structured Classroom and OJT training fully sponsored by the company. Upon completion, you will receive a Diploma and an opportunity to progress to supervisory or managerial* roles such as: Assistant Supervisor Supervisor or Assistant Restaurant Managers Based on performance during On the Job Training (Start off salary @$2,500) If you are currently looking for a career switch and to pursue a management career. Management Trainee (Restaurant) Roles & Responsibilities Duties include Supervisor and Manager duties and may rotate task within Restaurant Assist to create a good working environment and develop subordinates by identifying areas that need training and action to support it Maintain a high level of customer service Orientate and train employees so as to ensure that each individual has a complete understanding of the company’s policies by using the operations training manual Ensure that daily opening and closing duties in the outlet are properly executed Manage, assist and coordinate all operation-related activities in a proficient and pleasant method Ensure that overall store image is maintained and the brand is well represented at all times Monitor opening and closing duties of the outlet Communicate daily and act as the liaison between operations staff and management Ensure that POS system is operational and accurate at all times Provide coordination and services for both kitchen and service Adc duties if necessary Requirements Singaporean who have the willingness to learn attitude (Structured training will be provided for the selected candidate supported by WSG under PCP programme) Able to perform shifts, long hours and work on weekends and Public Holidays Motivated, result-oriented and a fast learner Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Positive attitude with the ability to influence positively Supervisory or Management Experience At least 2 years of working experience in Non-F&B environment CV Required Only candidate without F&B experience for the last 10 years will be considered.
