We support our clients with smart and creative solutions for analysis, optimization, test and prototype development using modern CAD and CAE tools. SC Solutions is seeking Mechanical / Aerospace Engineer I in our Sunnyvale office to join our growing team. Mechanical / Aerospace Engineer I is an entry level fulltime engineering position. A person in this position should have skills and training in fundamental engineering concepts, problem solving and critical thinking, technical writing and communications, and overall professional conduct. The Mechanical / Aerospace Engineer I, works under supervision of a senior staff on all engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to develop technical knowledge and engineering judgment. A staff member from the senior level checks all work prepared by a Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer I. A Mechanical / Aerospace Engineer I is expected to responsibly manage budget and schedule of all assignments, raise technical questions as needed to complete assignments and to complete tasks with high quality. A person in this position is expected to positively represent the company’s image, especially during client and/or professional interactions, and is expected to contribute to proposal development when requested, especially regarding estimation of task effort requirements. The minimum requirement for this position is a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering or Physics. A Master of Science (M.S) degree in the abovementioned disciplines or related field is preferred. Must be a United States worker.
