· Job Title/Role: Research Analyst/Internship - Investment Banking – TMT Sector (Multiple positions) The firm believes in providing appropriate opportunities for getting involved with key aspects of transaction advisory services, getting exposure to key external participants in the Investment Banking ecosystem, and building valuable industry connections and professional networks over the longer term. Job Description: Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include - · Researching Technology companies across different domains including IT Services, AI, Cloud, IoT, etc. based on certain investment parameters such as Revenue, No of employees, industry and other key parameters · Building and maintaining key information repository and contact database with high accuracy · Assisting senior Transaction team with support required on a daily basis with respect to building information lists above in a timely and accurate manner (for eg: you may quickly gather research and information on Top 30-50 AI companies in one day and could be a different domain based on project scope) · Scheduling discovery calls with qualified companies, investors, etc. and manage follow ups independently · Maintaining call volume and research metrics per day with the intent to qualify leads and support the process with team · Conduct secondary research based on the specific technology sector and conduct market analysis Key Requirements: Candidates shall meet the following requirements to be eligible · Exceptional Research skills & the ability to manage large database of information, lists, excel data, etc. · No investment banking experience necessary, we will train and mentor those who have excelled in their duties at the completion of their internship tenure · Ability to support and prioritize work as assigned by senior team members · Preferably Graduating in 2019/ 2020 · Must be available to work full time or (minimum 35 hours/week) starting January 15th, 2020 · Must NOT have completed an MBA / CFA/Masters Graduate Program, however CFA Level 1 or 2 or CA Inter Candidates are eligible · Fluency in written and spoken English as well as strong communication and tele-calling skills What we look for in candidates Successful interns are highly motivated, hardworking and goal-oriented.
