Experience - 5 to 10 years Job Function Responsible for overseeing formulation, device, and process development Responsible for providing guidance/mentorship to other Chemists Responsible for providing technical input for development programs Duties & Responsibilities. Develop robust formulations and manufacturing processes for new pharmaceutical products in conjunction with Analytical team. Conduct aerodynamic particle studies (e.g. spray pattern, plume geometry, droplet size distribution by laser diffraction) Develop and validate aerodynamic particle study methodologies Contribute to the establishment of specifications for release and stability of innovative and generic products and packaging components Ensure Chemists are working in compliance to regulations and are following GMP and SOPs. Conduct and review laboratory tests Perform release testing of packaging components (e.g. actuators) Perform comparative testing of stability batches and the brand leader product' Perform non-HPLC in vitro bio-equivalency testing Participate in microscopic analysis to determine particle size of raw materials and finished products Reviews test methods for correctness and scientific soundness. Conducts training of Chemists Review and approve SOPs, CPs, GMs, TMs, Protocols, BFOs, FSOs, Reports and Specifications. Prepares Pharmaceutical Development Reports' Performs self-inspections of laboratories. Any other duties as assigned.
