Full Time, 1 Year Fixed Term Contract Location: London Salary £30,795 - £36,589 per annum (Please note appointments for this role will be made £35,000 per annum) Purpose and scope of the role As part of the IT services team, the desktop support analyst provides support for all RCP IT services to all RCP IT service users. Responsibilities include; handling incidents or service requests using the incident reporting and request fulfilment processes. As a RCP desktop support analyst you should have a can-do, optimistic attitude and have a strong working knowledge of IT service operation, transition and continual service improvement. You will have a strong commitment to developing your IT knowledge and skills and a commitment to strive for service excellence. You should have significant experience in a similar role (including Microsoft SCCM, VMWare and Skype for Business), be educated to A level or professional standard (e.g. ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) and have excellent spoken and written English. Responsibilities Providing our users with full desktop support including: Advanced hardware troubleshooting Advanced operating system configuration, image creation, maintenance and troubleshooting Advanced desktop operating system and application patch management and deployment Full peripheral support including: Advanced mobile device administration Advanced telephony and unified communication system administration IT service management support including: Advanced IT service management system administration and usage Advanced configuration and asset management Basic Network troubleshooting Patch management Advanced printer troubleshooting and administration Experience You should have significant experience in a similar role, be educated to A level or professional standard (e.g. ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) Have excellent spoken and written English.
