Location: Chopin, LA – All facilities Primary Responsibilities: As a member of the construction millwright group, individuals are responsible for safely performing mechanical tasks including, cutting, welding, shaft alignment, bearing installation, troubleshooting, performing corrective and preventive maintenance, and repairing all plant mechanical equipment. Must be willing to work overtime and/or on weekends, as needed. This position services all RoyOMartin facilities. Job Qualifications: For consideration, candidates must have at least two years of experience in an industrial environment. He/she should also possess mechanical aptitude, the ability to grasp new complex concepts, attention to detail, outstanding safety and attendance records, and verbal and written communication skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Behavioral Profile: The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to safety and be willing to learn, grow, and work independently and with others. Further, he/she must be flexible, committed to quality, self-motivated with a can-do attitude, and detail oriented. He/she must have a sense of urgency, as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
