We're currently looking to expand our small Toronto team to provide increased support to one of our global clients in Canada. You'll be joining another IT Support Technician in our Toronto office, and a wider team based at our headquarters in Sydney, Australia. If you're passionate about technology, worked in help desk or IT support and you're looking for the next step in your career this could be the move you need to make. Less password reset requests, more hands on and complex IT support. Pragmatic and positive, you're a 'solutions focused people person' armed with a smile, a 'can-do' attitude and an insatiable curiosity for anything technical. Setting out on your Rotor adventure, you'll be getting an up close, hands on view of everything that happens across the studio. You'll play an important role in keeping our developers developing, our producers producing and our artists...well, you get the idea right? Responsible for all things IT, from basic software installs to hands-on, playing with the latest technology, you'll be a vital addition to the team. What're we looking for? Acting as the first line of support for all Rotor systems and equipment, providing onsite support to our team but also our clients. You've worked to provide user support and technical assistance with an understanding of the maintenance lifecycle for software/hardware. You'll be keen to work with us to build Rotor's future through new IT projects, understanding the importance of asset tracking, inventory management, vendor management and product procurement. You've got a passion for technology, eager to learn and share knowledge. Having worked in tech support you'll demonstrate the ability to gather requirements, providing solutions in a timely manner. While there is a need to provide support via email or phone, you'll also be comfortable partnering with our team to provide support face to face, or chasing up a client to action a piece of work that you need to complete. That being said - you recognise the importance of understanding the technical components of the role, but also the need to be a stellar communicator with the ability to build relationships. What's in it for you? Let's get into the good stuff. Perks of working for Rotor include flexible working hours = a great work / life balance, fresh fruit and other snacks EVERY DAY (omnom), super friendly and always approachable management team, beer/cider/wine o'clock on Friday afternoons, team lunches/dinners, education and training so you're constantly learning and company wide event nights - bowling & karaoke are favs! Rotor Studios is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace dedicated to pursuing and hiring a diverse workforce. A note to recruitment agencies - we have this role covered; there is no need to get in touch. We do not accept unsolicited agency resumes and we are not responsible for any fees related to unsolicited resumes. Thanks!
