Rombola Family Farms has a great opportunity for a driven and motivated individual experienced in the operations of a production line. This hands-on role is responsible for overseeing all operational production line tasks in order to optimise production performance. You will be accountable for the safe, clean and efficient operation of the line. This job will suit an individual with great people skills who can work with the team to rectify any issues identified. Reporting to the Packing Shed Manager your key tasks will include: - Overseeing all operational production line tasks and planning daily production operations - Implementing and reporting on daily packing plans - Tracking and recording stock use and inventory into the warehouse management system - Ensure adequate packaging levels are maintained to support production objectives - Organising production lines to ensure maximum efficiency - Arranging staffing requirements around workload - Supervising up to 25 people per shift - Ensure staff follow safety policies and relevant WHS legislations at all times To be successful in the role you will possess the following: - Previous experience supervising efficient, modern production lines handling fruit, vegetable or other manufacturing products - Experience with produce graders (MAF Roda, Compac) or similar vision grading systems will be highly advantageous along with integrated warehouse/inventory management systems - Capable of working in a fast paced environment with a can do attitude - Very organised team player who can work effectively with people from different backgrounds - Ability to work flexible hours during peak harvest periods Who we are? - Located 20kms North of Griffith, NSW, our company is a progressive, vibrant, privately owned business. - We are involved in a range of agricultural enterprises including melons, pumpkin, broccoli, citrus, wine grapes and almonds, with operations spanning growing, packing and marketing of produce.
