Description You are responsible for the daily logistics processes and you execute a limited number of them yourself. You carry the operational responsibility of a logistics (administrative) team of 2-3 people together with the follow-up of a team of 3 warehouse operators. You are aware of customs obligations relating to incoming and outgoing international shipments. Essential Functions: Identify the essential functions or accountabilities of the job in order of importance. Show what percentage of the job accounts for each major activity. 1. You are a team leader who cooperates with the logistics team. You are responsible for the administrative flow of the incoming and outgoing goods. Where necessary, you assist with the team's activities and carry out a number of them yourself. The daily tasks consist of: Follow up and prepare daily shipments Create picking lists in the ERP system Create shipping documents: packing lists, invoices, certificates Organize transport to customers and between different Rogers locations Import instructions for air and sea freight Preparing and applying for official documents: certificates of origin, customs documents (export, EUR1, ATR) Archiving the necessary documents 40% 2. You coach and motivate your team. You ensure there is a balanced and efficient division of work, you organize back up and guarantee the continuity of your team. In addition, you keep in regular contact with the resale warehouse and you follow the activities of the warehouse operators. You do this by organizing f2f meetings, both individually and in a team. You also provide training and updates where necessary, both for the warehouse staff and for your logistics team. 30% 3. You have regular contact with logistics partners, internal and external. Together with the Logistics Specialist, you follow up the services of the external logistics service providers (transport and customs). Internally you also work according to the guidelines of Corporate Logistics and Trade Compliance. You stay up to date with developments in the sector, both transport and customs, to ensure the best service to our customers 20% 4. Together with the Customer Service team leaders, you strive for continuous improvement of services to customers. You look for optimizations of working methods and processes. You naturally respect the internal and external procedures and legislation (ISO, SOX, REACH, RoHS,...) 10% Qualifications Required Education and Experience: Briefly outline the educational level & degree program, and experience required to perform the job. Bachelor level Minimum 5 years of experience in Customer Service, Logistics, Dispatch, Transport or a similar environment. Customs knowledge Required Skills and Abilities: Briefly outline the specific skills and abilities necessary to perform the job. Fluent in Dutch and English, basic knowledge of French Familiar with Outlook, Office and ERP system Critical Competencies: Up to a maximum of 6 competencies.
