Day-to-day, here's what you'll really do: With management, you'll define hands-on supply chain strategies for our products, with a primary focus on supplier management. This includes: Requirements definition Category analysis/strategy Critical supplier identification RFI/RFQ process Contract negotiation & management You'll execute these strategies and regularly inform management on their status. You’ll be out and about to regularly visit and evaluate suppliers, assessing risks and making sure any issues are addressed. You'll negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, being involved from the very beginning to determine the best approach with the R&D team. You’ll support operations with proactive planning to order the parts needed for prototyping and production strategy. You'll communicate across the entire organisation, reporting directly to the Director of Operations. In particular, you’ll have close contact with the Production Planner, R&D Team, and Sales Managers. Sound good? Already itching to apply? Wonderful! But hold your horses, there's a little more. What we're after: A higher degree at HBO/WO level; We expect you to have a minimum of three years' experience in supply chain management; You speak English and Dutch fluently; We don't expect you to be a legal expert, but knowledge of contracts and the ability to recognise deviations is a must; You can work independently, and you're a self-starter; You can communicate on every different organisational level.
