Position Summary: This position is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with HR management supporting the organization. This position will focus heavily on recruiting and will also have responsibility for other HR functions: onboarding, training coordination, policy implementation, employee events, and employment legal compliance. This position will be responsible for working on 3rd shift two-days out of the week to ensure all employees have access to HR personnel. Primary Activities/Duties: Performs searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, internet recruiting resources, media, recruiting firms, and employee referrals to effectively fill positions Prepare or maintain employment records related to hiring, termination, promotions, and other human resources documents Utilize social media outlets for sourcing both passive and active candidates Interview applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, and job skills Coordinate and conduct presentations at career fairs and technical schools Establish and maintain relationships with area educational facilities. Attends various recruiting events Develop and maintain metrics on recruiting efforts and results Measure performance to gauge the success of programs Maintain training records, manuals, new hire evaluations, and training documentation Develops relationships with universities to support recruiting Maintains current knowledge of various HR laws, practices, procedures, and trends Performs other related duties as required and assigned Knowledge & Experience: High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of 2-years of recruiting experience preferably in a manufacturing setting Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of all Microsoft products. Working knowledge of HRIS system (i.e., SAP HR, JazzHR) Must be able to work on 3rd-shift two-days a week Benefits are available on the 1st of the month! Avmj9Fx9fK
